Already accused Youth Leader, Paul Gaeta, who was investigated last year for sex abuse of a minor, is facing more allegations for sex abuse of another young boy dating back to the 1980’s. Gaeta, a Lovejoy Youth leader allegedly abused the boy multiple times on multiple occasions when the minor was just 10 years old. Gaeta was the Executive Director of the Advisory Board for Lovejoy Elderly and Youth. The victim states that he “sustained severe personal physical and psychological injuries that have negatively harmed and impacted him” throughout his life.
Lovejoy Elderly and Youth was a founded as a not for profit by former Buffalo Common Councilman Norman Bakos and the city fo Buffalo is also named because of the association with Bakos, now deceased.
Gaeta was arrested back in 1978 in Delaware Park for a felony sex crime that involved an 11 year old boy but the charges were dismissed and the record was sealed which led Gaeta to go on and work with children in multiple roles throughout his lifetime. He even because a federal agent before this illicit past resurfaced.
