With over 18 years working in civil litigation and over 11 years in practice as an attorney, Chantel has extensive experience in all phases of litigation.
Raised in the Bay Area, she is passionate about seeking justice for her clients and finds satisfaction in facilitating their healing process as she advocates for their rights.
Chantel has held various leadership roles in the American Bar Association (“ABA”) and enjoys giving back to the community with a history of providing assistance to the underprivileged including: spearheading an ABA diversity HBCU law school initiative, taking the lead in organizing fundraising for a non-profit, and collaborating with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel along with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Volunteer Legal Services Program, through pro bono services with the Legal Advice and Referral Clinic, as well as the Consumer Debt Defense and Education Clinic.
Chantel received her B.A. degree in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley (2005) and her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco (2011).
When she’s not working, Chantel enjoys the simple things in life whether it be: finding new places to eat, taking walks with her dogs, or spending time with loved ones. Chantel has two school aged sons (Xavier and Kenneth), and one college aged daughter (Aniyah), who is studying to be a psychiatrist at UCLA.
