Andrew Silvershein is a distinguished attorney known for his zealous advocacy on behalf of survivors of sexual abuse across the United States.
In 2024, Andrew was part of the Herman Law trial team that won a CVA record $25 million verdict against the Bay Shore Union Free School District (New York) on behalf of a client who was sexually abused by a known predator teacher. Since joining Herman Law in 2020, Andrew has obtained multiple favorable court rulings denying attempts to dismiss survivors’ claims, and forcing defendants to turn over vital discovery, most recently in M.K. v. Diocese of Brooklyn, et al .
Prior to Herman Law, Andrew gained extensive experience defending insurance companies and other entities in a variety of litigation matters. This provided Andrew with invaluable insight as to defense tactics, allowing him to navigate the intricacies of sexual abuse cases from a unique perspective.
