Peter Tomlinson, 63, the former President of Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, is accused of “five counts of paying for the sexual services of a girl under the age of 13,” according to the National Crime Agency said. Tomlinson is being charged with 12 counts of child sex abuse.
Tomlinson is a business man who resigned from 10 different roles in the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, and has since resigned from duty.
He is also charged with making indecent images and child exploitation.
He is scheduled to appear at Newport Crown Court on 14 December.
