Two teenage boys charged in bathroom sex abuse at a Brooklyn school

Two teen boys sexually abused a 17-year-old girl with a learning disability in a Brooklyn school bathroom while other students watched, reports the New York Daily News.

The victim was lured to the bathroom by a 13-year-old boy who told her that her teacher wanted to see her.

The victim trusted the boy and followed him to the ground floor boy’s bathroom inside Public School 165 Ida Posner on Lott Ave. in Brownsville, where several boys were waiting.

According to police sources, the 15-year-old boy pushed the girl into the bathroom and demanded she perform sex acts on a 14-year-old boy.  The girl complied due to feeling intimidated and threatened.

Afterwards, the victim burst into tears and told her friends what happened.  A guidance counselor was notified, then the principal and police.

The 14-year-old boy who the girl performed sex acts on was charged with sex abuse and forcible touching.  the 15-year-old who pushed her into the bathroom was similarly charged along with unlawful imprisonment.

The safety of children should be paramount in all schools.  It is unfortunate what took place here and I encourage anyone with information to contact police.
