Deceased New York pediatrician Dr. Reginald Archibald has been accused of sexually abusing over 1,000 children over a period of several decades. The doctor, who for decades worked at Rockefeller University Hospital in Manhattan, is accused of molesting a countless amount of his patients and is alleged to have taken nude photographs of the children as well. This year, Rockefeller University Hospital commissioned an investigation in response to the allegations, which uncovered that the hospital may have been aware of allegations of inappropriate behavior by Dr. Archibald as early as 1960.

“This is Jerry Sandusky all over again,” Herman Law managing partner Jeff Herman told the New York Post, referring to the ex-Penn State football coach whose rape and sexual assault of boys continued despite warning signs.

According to the investigation commissioned by the hospital, “it is clear that Archibald, taking advantage of his position as a trusted and respected physician and researcher, engaged in a widespread pattern of misconduct and sexually abused many children at the Hospital over the course of many years when offering patients medical care and treatment.”

At Herman Law, we have an extensive history of holding accountable institutions who cover up allegations of abuse and fail to protect children from harm. If you are a victim of Dr. Reginald Archibald, or know somebody who was, please reach out to our team today.
