Herman Law successfully appealed a Georgia trial court decision that prevented a survivor of sexual abuse from filing her lawsuit anonymously by using a pseudonym such as “Jane Doe”. Herman Law’s successful appeal changed the standard in the state of Georgia so that judge’s are now given discretion to allow sexual abuse survivors to file their lawsuits anonymously.
