Samantha Panny is an Associate in the Firm’s New York Office and is a strong advocate for her clients and justice. Her passion and zeal for championing sexual assault victims predate her years as a practicing civil litigation attorney.
Samantha received her B.A. in Political Science in 2016 from John Jay College of Criminal Justice whereat she focused her senior thesis on nationwide policy changes to support victims of sexual assault. Prior to earning her Juris Doctorate from Penn State Law in 2019, Samantha interned with the Special Victims Unit at the Montgomery County Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office, where her passion for victim advocacy amplified. She spent her last semester of law school researching and formulating policy reform for her externship to assist victims with reporting at Penn State University.
Samantha began her legal career successfully defending attorneys and other professionals in malpractice litigation in New York State and Federal courts. She then went on to serve as nationwide counsel for large corporations concerning general and product liability litigation. After turning back to malpractice defense in representing healthcare professionals and hospitals, Samantha left defense work to pursue a career in the field of her passion, advocating for victims of sexual abuse.
