Michelle is an attorney in the firm’s New York office. She began her legal career at the Administration for Children’s Services in the Bronx, where she prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases for the City of New York. Prior to joining Herman Law, Michelle was counsel at an Insurance Defense firm for a national insurance company trying over 200 cases involving personal injury, premises liability, automobile negligence and wrongful death claims. While in this position she was a member of the Global Training Initiative, selected for an emerging leadership program and was given a Distinguished Performance Award. Prior to that, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Northwestern District Attorney’s Office in Northampton, Massachusetts where she prosecuted and tried numerous cases involving various misdemeanors and felonies and was given an outstanding service award.

Michelle received her J.D. in 2003 from Cardozo Law School where she was an articles editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University in 2000 where she graduated cum laude. Michelle is licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.
