John has been practicing law in California for thirty years, litigating cases for both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of matters including personal injury, products liability, maritime, environmental, transportation and aviation accident litigation.

Prior to beginning his legal career, John served as a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, assigned to duty on land and sea in the US and in Japan, Korea and the Philippines, before he was honorably discharged in 1991. When not practicing law, John enjoys spending time with his wife and four grown children and backpacking through the Sierra Nevada mountains.
