Brian Teets is a dedicated advocate for survivors, bringing years of litigation experience to his role at Herman Law. He is honored to join a firm focused on representing individuals who have endured significant trauma and is committed to delivering compassionate, results-driven representation.

Throughout his career, Brian has handled a wide range of cases involving elder abuse, wrongful death, toxic torts, and employment claims. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery and depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and select trial work. Brian has successfully presented complex legal arguments in court, navigated high-stakes mediations and settlement discussions, and delivered meaningful results for his clients. His work has focused on advocating for vulnerable populations, and his background in elder abuse has further enhanced his ability to serve clients facing unique and challenging circumstances.

Brian earned his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, where he distinguished himself as a Dean’s Fellow and a top student in evidentiary foundations and objections. He also served as a research assistant and participated in the Mock Trial Honor Society. Prior to law school, Brian graduated from Tulane University with a degree in history, honing his analytical skills and developing a lifelong passion for justice.

When not advocating for his clients, Brian enjoys spending time with his husband and dog and exploring Los Angeles’s vibrant culinary and music scenes.
