Alexandra “Lexie” Cohen serves as an Associate in the Firm’s New York Office, where she is a dedicated advocate for abuse survivors.
Lexie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University in May 2020. She then pursued her legal education at Emory University School of Law beginning in Fall 2021, where she served as an elected executive board member of the Emory Moot Court Society. In addition to competing on behalf of the Society, Lexie co-directed and co-authored the problem for Emory’s 17th Annual Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition. Upon receiving her Juris Doctor from Emory University in May 2024, Lexie was honored with both the Order of Emory Advocates for Outstanding Achievement in or Contribution to Excellence in Advocacy Activities and the Pro Bono Publico Award.
After law school, Lexie joined the NYC Administration for Children’s Services, working in the Family Legal Court Services unit at the Bronx Family Courthouse. In this capacity, Lexie acted as the lead trial attorney for dozens of child protective cases, gaining valuable courtroom and trial experience in the process. By the end of her 15-month tenure at ACS, Lexie maintained an undefeated trial and motion record and was entrusted with supervising junior attorneys in court.
